This is the website of the Micklehurst Tots Initiative, based in Micklehurst, Tameside
The Micklehurst Tots Initiative was formally launched on 26th June 2008, having ratified it's constitution and appointed it's management commitee. It is a voluntary group of childminders and aims to provide much needed activities and support to families who don't have the opportunity to enjoy some of the basic privileges many of us take for granted.
The group was set up as the formal arm of the Micklehurst Mums & Tots group, founded by Elaine Andrews about 15 years ago, and adopted by Janet Bingley some 6 years ago, and is run by people from Micklehurst, for the people of Micklehurst.
